The 2013 National TV Awards have just opened up voting and none other than your favorite heroes have been nominated.Matt Smith is up for Drama Performance: Male; there are 28 other nominations in this category, which include Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (Sherlock), Kevin Whately (Lewis) and Sir Kenneth Branagh (Wallander). The show itself has been nominated for the Drama category. Even though Doctor Who is up against roughly 35 other shows, our votes over here in the Big Blue Police Box, will always be for The Doctor and his companions! takes place until Thursday 11th October. Up to four nominees from each of the categories with the most votes will then go forward to be included in the shortlist voting round (date to be announced).
